The Legend Actor Dilip Kumar will celebrating his 95th birthday on 11th December 2017. He was born Muhammad Yusuf Khan on1922 in Peshawar, now in Pakistan. He is an Indian film actor. He debuted as an actor in 1944. His career has spanned over six decades and with over 60 films. He is the first recipient of Filmfare Best Actor Award (1954) and still holds the record for the most number of Filmfare awards won for that category with eight wins.
The Government of India honoured him with the Padma Bhushan award in 1991, the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1994 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2015 for his contributions towards Indian cinema and nominated him to Rajya Sabha, the upper house of Indian parliament for a term.
- The Government of Pakistan honoured him with its highest civilian honour Nishan-e-Imtiaz in 1997. Happy birthday to great legend actor Dilip Kumar.
